Anthony A. 'Tony' Zangaro, 77

LONG NECK - Anthony A. "Tony" Zangaro of Long Neck, formerly of Philadelphia and New Jersey, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 77.

Tony was born in Marlton, N.J., son of the late, Anthony and Irma (Driscoll) Zangaro.

He was a retired real estate broker and served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, where he was a survivor of the battle of the Chosin Reservoir.

Tony was a member of American Legion Post 28, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7447 and the AMVETS 2.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Alma M. Zangaro; two sons, Joseph Zangaro and Mark Zangaro, both of New Jersey; five grandchildren, Mara and Jacob, both of Riverside, N.J., and Kief, Katie and Joseph, all of San Diego.

A visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck Road, Millsboro, and again Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

Mass of Christian burial will be offered Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church, Millsboro.

Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery South, Millsboro.
