Annual Rally for Our First Responders May 20 at Hudson Fields

MILTON — The Shaffer Family Foundation will present the 2nd annual Rally for Our First Responders from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 20 at Hudson Fields.

The gates open at 11:30 a.m. and the rain date is Sunday, May 21.

Recognized will be the Sussex County Paramedic Association, Lewes Fire Department, Milton Fire Department, Georgetown Fire Department, the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company, Indian River Fire Department, Fit 4 Duty Foundation, Delaware C.O.P.S., Delaware Police Chiefs’ Foundation and Camp Barnes.

The event will include live music, bounce houses, face painting, laser tag, pony rides, petting zoo, axe throwing, food trucks, Revelation craft beer, wine, cocktails from Easy Speak, Chelsea & Company Bartending, silent and live auction, 50/50, early bird raffles, and vendors.

Supported organization will present displays, demonstrations, vehicles, K9, aviation, specialty equipment and honor guard.

E-tickets are $20, children 12 and under free, and available at events.handbid.com, search “Rally for Our First Responders.” VIP tickets are $50 with 100 available.

Live music on the big stage provided by Mid-South Audio Studios and sponsored by Beebe Medical Center. Bands are Fitzkee Brothers, Lower Case Blues, Sweet Leda and headliner Brother & Sister Band, The Allman Brothers Family Tribute Band.
