WARWICK, Md. - Annie Grace Hall Collins, of Warwick, passed away Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, in Union Memorial Hospital, Elkton. She was 92.
Mrs. Collins was born July 9, 1914, in Camden, Del., daughter of the late Edward and Katie Grace Hall.
She attended schools in Felton, Del., Magnolia, Del., and Dover, Del., before graduating in 1932 from George Biddle High School in Cecilton.
Following her marriage in 1935, she and her husband moved to a dairy farm near Warwick, where she lived until her death.
She was married for more than 60 years to Gilbert L. Collins Sr., who died in 1995.
Mrs. Collins was a member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, Warwick, and the Maryland Farm Bureau.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, G. LeRoy Collins Jr.; a sister, Katie Leola Collins; and five brothers, Edward Hall, Charles Hall, Harry Hall, Robert Hall and Grover Hall.
She is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Katie and Ray Whiteoak of Wilmington; four grandchildren and their spouses, Katie Beth and Matthew Ryan of Newark, Joseph Whiteaok III of Martinsburg, W.Va., Timothy Collins of Dover, and Pamela and Patrick Davids of Rosedale; and four great-granddaughters, Nicole Hosler of Middletown, Del., Gwendolyn Ryan, Lorna Ryan and Emma Ryan, all of Newark; and a brother, Kenneth Hall of Beacon, N.Y.
Funeral services will be noon Monday in Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna, Del.
