LINCOLN - Annie C. Watson passed away peacefully, Tues., Apr. 14, 2015. She was born in Lincoln, on Jan. 14, 1924 to the late John and Annie Coverdale. She was employed by L.D. Caulk in Milford for 41 years until retiring to spend time with her late husband of 63 years John A. "Gus" Watson. Annie was member of the Lincoln United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Lincoln Choir. She enjoyed preparing meals and baked pies to carry to shut-ins. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her three brothers, Harvey, Charlie and Richard Coverdale; sisters, Sally Fitzgerald, Francis Wilson and Lottie Jones. She is survived by her son, Lonnie Watson and wife, Maggie; grandson, Larry Watson and wife, Julie; and great-grandson, Rhett Augustus. She is survived by her sisters, Meta Donovan, Jeannie Rust; and dear friends, Tim, Diana and Travis Yoder; and several nieces. Funeral services will be Sun., April 19, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral, 119 NW Front Street. Milford, where friends may call from Noon to 2:00 for a viewing. Interment will be Milford Community Cemetery.
