DENTON, Md. - Anne M. Schreiber of Denton died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, in Caroline Nursing Home, Denton. She was 100.
Miss Schreiber was born Dec. 13, 1905, in Greensboro, daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Kirsch) Schreiber.
She was a 1923 graduate of Greensboro High School, and also was a graduate of Beacon Business College (now Goldey Beacom College), Wilmington, Del.
She was a secretary for Sun Oil Co. of Philadelphia for 41 years.
Miss Schreiber was a dedicated member of St. Elizabeth/St. Benedict's Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John J. Schreiber, George F. Schreiber and Frank V. Schreiber; and a sister, Mary E. Brubaker.
She is survived by a sister, Adele Wilson of Denton; four nieces, Kathleen Porter and Elsie Embert, both of Greensboro, Eleanor Richards of Hockessin, Del., and Evelyn Jahn of Harrington, Del.; and two nephews, Robert Schreiber of Greensboro and Alton Brubaker of Delmar.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Denton.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Greensboro.
