DOVER - Anne H. Katzer of Dover died Thursday, March 22, 2007, in Dover. She was 94.
Mrs. Katzer was born Feb. 23, 1913, in Canterbury.
She was a graduate of Felton High School and the University of Delaware.
Mrs. Katzer lived in Delaware all her life, the last 34 years in Dover. She operated a grocery store in Delaware City and was employed by Playtex, Pennsylvania Railroad and the Bank of Delaware, now called PNC, before retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman D. and Anna Moore Hammond; two brothers, Nelson Hammond and William Hammond; two sisters, Frances Poore and Sara Swain; and three husbands, Roy Campbell, Gove Campbell and Charles Katzer.
She is survived by two nieces and four nephews, Patricia (Poore) Durham of College Station, Texas, Shirley (Swain) Register of Valdosta, Ga., Robert Swain of Newport News, Va., W. Dorsey Hammond of Chestertown, Md., Jay Poore of Dover and W. Dale Hammond of Felton; and three stepchildren, Lynn Callender of Tennessee, David Katzer of North Carolina and Charles "Bucky" Campbell of Tennessee; and a very devoted caregiver and friend, Cece Morris.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be April 24 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, Lotus Plaza, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
