Anna T. 'Punch' Ringgold, 72
GALENA, Md. - Anna T. 'Punch' Ringgold of Galena died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, in Laurelwood Nursing Home, Elkton. She was 72.
Mrs. Ringgold was born Aug. 24, 1934, in Galena, daughter of the late John Raymond Sr. and Hilda Boyd Mulford.
She worked for Playtex in Dover, Del. for 45 years as an accounts receivable clerk before retiring in 1997.
Mrs. Ringgold and her husband lived in Dover for a number of years, returning to Galena in 1987. She was a member of Olivet United Methodist Church and sang with the choir.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, G. Roger Ringgold; a brother and a sister-in-law, John R. Jr. and Joanne Mulford of Galena; a sister and a brother-in-law, Charlotte and Harry Wallace of Brandon, Miss.; and a dear friend, Emily Moore of Dover.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday in Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Galena Cemetery.
