Anna Rothermel Garland, 81 DOVER - Anna Rothermel Garland, of Dover, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 81. Mrs. Garland was born May 14, 1928, in Reading, Pa., to the late William K. Rothermel and Mary Seaman Rothermel. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her one brother, Howard Rothermel. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Garland was a member of the St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Dover. Mrs. Garland is survived by her husband of 56 years, John J. Garland of Dover; sons, John "Michael" Garland of Gloucester Township, N.J., and Robert "Bob" of Ocean City, N.J. and wife Debbie; daughter, Joanne Garland of Reading, Pa.; sisters, Mabel Eschleman of Reading, Pa., and Helen Artley of Alexandria, La.; grandchildren, Jessica McKinney, Jennifer Rivera, Stephanie Garland- Royce, and Jonathan Tarakci; two great-grandchildren, Zoe and Ava Rivera. Services will be at a later date.
