Anna Mary Shutters, 81
DOVER - Anna Mary Shutters of Pickering Beach Road, Dover, passed away Sunday March 18, 2007, in her home with family. She was 81.
She was born on July 5, 1925, in Hollidaysburg, Pa., to the late Albert and Edna Sponn Latshaw.
She was a member of Frederica Senior Center.
She loved cats. She was a collector of everything. She loved old movies and songs. She enjoyed mystery books and loved flowers. She was a good cook and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Albert Shutters and Kenneth Kassing.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Howard M. Shutters II of Dover; two sons, Edward A. Kassing of Smyrna and Howard M. Shutters III of Wilmington; two daughters, Betty Ann Moore and her husband, and Daniel Bailey of Dover, Mary Ellen and her husband, Tom McCready of Wilmington; a brother, John A Latshaw of Florida; a sister, Virginia Hunt of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Remembrance services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Trader Funeral Home, Dover.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call two hours before the time of the services at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to American Cancer Society 92 Read"s way, Suite 205 New Castle, DE 19720.
