DOVER - Anna Mary Greenage passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. Anna was born to the late Annie Stoltzfus and Jerry Humphries on June 14, 1956 in Milford.
After graduating from Dover High School, she attended Delaware State University and received her BSN in Nursing. She met and then married John R. Greenage Sr. in 1979. She worked at The State of Delaware as a public health nurse. Anna was a past member of Calvary Church and then attended UNITED Church. She was also a part of the widow and care ministry. Anna loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She also had a personal interest in ceramics, crafts and painting.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Greenage Sr.; brother, Danny Humphries and son-in-law, Pharon Hameed.
Anna is survived by her daughter Michelle Hameed of Dover, son John (Abigail) Greenage Jr. of Townsend; sisters, Fannie Humphries of Dover, Dorothy (Larry Jones) Greenage of Vero Beach, Florida, and Cherie (Chris) White of Dover; brothers, Lee (Michelle) and Isaac (Beverly) Humphries, all of Dover; step-mother, Clara Humphries of Dover; grandchildren, Brianna and Deshawn Hameed and Leah Greenage and also many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Calvary Church, 1141 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, DE 19901 (Rt.10) at 1 p.m. Friends may call two hours prior. Burial will be held at Odd Fellows Camden.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The Blood Bank of Delaware.
