Anna Marie Pizzuto, 78

FELTON - Anna Marie Pizzuto, of Felton, passed away from this life on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, in her home to be with her Lord Jesus surrounded by her loving family. She was 78. She was born Oct. 13, 1930, in Delaware to the late Herman and Susie Short. She loved her church and God. Anna was a very active member until her health declined. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Anna lived in other states then moved back to Delaware in 1963 with her husband Paul from Boston, Mass. She worked in the food industry most of her life and really loved working with the public. She was warm and friendly. She loved yard work, painting and her flowerbeds. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Herman Short, James Short and Arthur Short; and one sister, Elsie Pitlick. Anna is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 50 years, Paul Pizzuto of Felton; five lovely daughters and their families, Brenda and Ken Kline of Felton, Joan and Will Hodges of Florida, Jane and Cliff Morris of Hartley, Sabrina and Mike Morrow of Magnolia and Paula and Terry McClements of Camden. Anna also leaves her brother-in-law, Phillip Pizzuto; sisters-in-law, Betty Donato, Angie Forte, Joanne Pizzuto. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and dear friends; special niece and nephew, Gloria and Tony Pizzuto, who is currently serving in Iraq. She also leaves several beautiful grandchildren, Kenny Kline Jr, and Bil Kline, Laura Gondeck and husband Mike, Leanne Andrews and husband Matt, Adam Morris and wife Katina, Aaron Morris and wife Julie, Erica Marrero and husband Nate, Alison Landolph and husband Sam, Rebecca and David Morrow; great-grandchildren, Jason, Patience and Taylor Kline, Jessica and Kristen Gondeck, Destinee Andrews, Audric and Sienna Morris, Eva, Ben and Isaac Morris; one great-great-granddaughter, Abby Kline. She will be greatly missed. A viewing will be Tuesday at Trinity Wesleyan Church, 1564 South State St., Dover, from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Wesleyan Church, where friends may view one hour prior. Burial will be in the Veteran Cemetery in Bear at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Trinity Wesleyan Church, in care of Dot Kashner 1564 South State St., Dover, DE 19901.
