Anna B. Webb, 85

HARRINGTON - Anna B. Webb of Harrington died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, in Ruxton Health of Denton, Md. She was 85.

She was born in Harrington on Oct. 20, 1921, daughter of the late Russell J. and Beulah (Morgan) Brown.

Mrs. Webb was a homemaker.

She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church, Harrington, and was an active participant in many church events.

Mrs. Webb was a member of the Harrington Senior Center.

For many years she enjoyed making baby quilts for all of the babies born in her neighborhood.

Mrs. Webb loved caring for her family and neighbors alike.

Because of her helping and caring for others, her friends thought of her as having a servant"s heart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hyland F. Webb, in 1994; a brother, Tom Brown; and a sister, Ethel Musser.

She is survived by three daughters, Vivian Dill and her husband Francis of Harrington, Joyce Conard and her husband Harvey of Bivalve, Md., and Dianne Short and her husband Steve of Harrington; three sisters, Lillian Massey of Seaford, Mary Lee Pippin of Milford, and Geneva Greenly of Felton; four grandsons, P. Scott Dill of Cincinnati, Lt. Col. Derek V. Dill of Eilson Air Force Base, Alaska, Mark A. Wagner of Milford, and Brett W. Conard of Surry, Va.; five great-grandsons; and four great-granddaughters.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Prospect United Methodist Church, 5183 Vernon Road, Harrington.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Instead of flowers, gifts in her memory may be mailed to Prospect United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 343, Harrington, DE 19952.
