Ann Elizabeth 'Betty' Baker, 82 MAGNOLIA - Ann Elizabeth "Betty" Baker, of Magnolia, died Wednesday Aug. 27, 2008 in her home. She was 82. Mrs. Baker was born July 25, 1926, in Milford, to the late Fred Owens and Nettie Dougherty. She was a homemaker and storyteller. Mrs. Baker had worked at the Allen Frear Elementary School in the cafeteria and Green Giant in Woodside. She was a member of the Camden Wyoming Moose Lodge and had been Senior Regent in the 1990s. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph A. Hagan Sr. and granddaughter, Kimberly Mallatt. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Wayne A. Baker of Magnolia; five sons, James Hagan of Woodside, Joseph R. Hagan and his wife Linda of N.H., Joseph A. Hagan Jr. and his wife Denise of Willow Grove, Johnny Hagan and his wife Sandy of Hartly and Tommy Baker of Wilmington; three daughters, Jo Ann Spencer of New Castle, Jean Huesmann and her husband Russell of Wilton, Iowa, and Loretta McClements and her husband Bobby of Dover; 14 grandchildren, Cynthia Lentz, Scott Spencer both of Pa., Russell Huesmann, Terra Cozzens both of Iowa, Poppi and Darsey Hagan both of N.H., Heather Mallatt of Kan., Benjamin Downs of Del., Jarred Hagan of Pa., Jason Hagan, Travis Downs, Joseph A. Hagan III, Leroy and Jennifer McClements all of Del. and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday in the Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, where friends may call two hours prior. Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. Letters of condolences may be sent, and guestbook signed, at torbertfuneral.com.
