DOVER - Anita G. St. Jean, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, in the Capitol Nursing Home, Dover. Mrs. St. Jean was born Nov. 14, 1923, in Exeter, N.H., to the late Antonio Michaud and Mirza Ouellett. She attended Robinson Female Seminary in Exeter and was employed by the Phillips Exeter Academy until her retirement in 1986. In 1993, Mrs. St. Jean was the first non-professional staff member of Phillips Academy to be presented the prestigious Founders Day Award. Mrs. St. Jean enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She was preceded in death by her son, Lionel in 1955; and her husband, Arthur in 1987. She is survived by two sons, Donald and his wife Ann of Hartly and Marc and his wife Deborah of Magnolia; two sisters, May and her husband Grady Reeves of Arab Ala., and Lucille Hope of Rochester, N.J.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held in Exeter, N.H. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901. Local arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
