DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. - Angelique Bower passed away on Oct. 2, 2016, in her home in District Heights, Md., suddenly yet peacefully. Angelique will always be remembered for her upbeat attitude, self-less giving ways, and her desire that all people be treated in a friendly, respectful, and courteous manner. This is who Angelique was in her private life as well as her chosen career of being a professional bartender. She extended, projected, and exuded pure kindness on everybody she in contact with! She was a great friend to many and leaves a host of them behind. She is survived by her parents, Mary and Terry Bower. Also on her mothers side her precious grandfather "pappy", Charles Getz, Sr.; her aunts, Ruth and George Rogers, and Tammy and Glenn Adams; her uncle, Charles Getz, Jr.; and many cousins. On her fathers side, her uncles, Duane and Melanie Bower and Bob and Sharon Bower; as well a host of cousins!!! Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Silver Lake Park in Dover ( Beach side, off of State St.) In lieu of donations or flowers there will be in the very near future a scholarship fund set up in her name as Angelique was a believer in higher education, and will most likely be for someone seeking to become a professional bartender.
