Angelina R. Johnson

MILLSBORO - Angelina R. Johnson, "Angel", of Millsboro, died on Oct. 1, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington after a long illness. She was 71. Born in Claymont, on May 5, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha E. Powell Reginaldi. She was a very animated, fun loving person who had a "green thumb" and could grow anything. She loved Christmas, and loved attending Indian Mission United Methodist Church. She loved to sew and do alterations. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Arthur B. Johnson in 1986. She was also preceded by her sister, Mary Wisniewski. She is survived by three brothers, Joseph and John Reginaldi, and Jerry Mercandante. She is also survived by her children: Leza Smack, and husband Leroy; Calvin Mitchell; Jerry Johnson, and wife Crystal; Joseph Johnson; and Raymond Johnson, all of Millsboro. She has eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Friends and family may gather for a viewing and visitation from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, and a funeral service and celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m., at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, with Pastor Karen Mumford officiating. Interment will follow at the Indian Mission UMC Cemetery.
