Erickson, 97 MILFORD - Angelena "Angie" Erickson passed away on Mon., Jul. 6, 2015. Angie was born on Thurs., Nov. 22, 1917, in West Virginia to Amelia and Agazio Martinis In Mar. of 1936, she married the love of her life, Charles Erickson. Angie has lived in Camden, N.J. and Erial, N.J. She moved to Milford in 1998. Angie was a long time member and Madame Regent of the Lindenwold Moose Lodge, Lindenwold, N.J. She was also Queen of the Milford Chapter of the Red Hatters Society. She is survived by her daughter, Amelia Hendricks, Milford; grandchildren, Robert & Pat Hendricks, Tansboro, N.J., Debbie & Luke Shinn, Hammonton, N.J., and Donna Messatzzia, Milford; great-grandchildren, Crystal Breinig, Cape May, N.J., Rob & Stephanie Hendricks, Medford, N.J., Stephanie DeMaio, Tansboro, N.J., Jennifer & Tom Meisse, Marlton, N.J., Ryan & Amanda Messatzzia, Delmar, Matthew & Ashley Messatzzia, Bellefonte and April & Mike Capaldi, Hammonton, N.J.; great- great-grandchildern, Kyle, Ayden & Atlas Hendricks; Michael, Sammy & Alexis DeMaio; Brooklyn & Ella Meisse; Kaden & Sorren Capaldi; and Madeline & Miles (due in November 2015) Messatzzia. Angie is predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Erickson; son, Eric Erickson; grandson, Jason Erickson; brothers & sisters, Ralph, Lena, Annie, Josie, Jimmy & Nick. The family will hold an intimate graveside service and burial in Angie's hometown of Erial, N.J. where she lived a full and happy life with her loving family. Your prayers and outpouring of support have been truly appreciated. God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be So he put His arms around you And whispered "Come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you As you slowly slipped away And though we loved you dearly We couldn't make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating Your tired hands put to rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. Rest in peace Mom, Nanny, Nanna.
