MILLSBORO - Ammon D. Nein Jr., of Millsboro, formerly of Severn, Md., and Mt. Penn, Pa., passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at his home. He was 60.

He was born in Reading, Pa., son of the late, Ammon and Bernice (Ludwig) Nein.

Mr. Nein was a Kutztown University graduate and served in the U.S. Navy.

He was a retired language analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense in Ft. Meade, Md.

Mr. Nein enjoyed coaching baseball, soccer, and basketball and the junior varsity baseball team at Meade High School.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dolores (Miller) Nein; two sons, Matthew and his wife Jennifer of Delmar, Md., and Bradley of Savannah, Ga.; a sister, Linda Reimert of Mt. Penn, Pa.

Services will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Ammon's memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 31038 Country Garden Blvd, Suite D2, Dagsboro, DE 19939; or to Andy Dunsmore Ph.D., Director of Development for Neurosurgery, Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine, 1 Charles Center, Suite 409, 100 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21201.Please make check payable to, Johns Hopkins University, for Dr. Quinones-Hinajosa Research Fund.
