MILFORD - Amber Dawn Gainey, of Milford became our guardian angel on Jan. 10, 2014 surrounded by her loving family and many caring friends. Amber attended Milford High School and was on the cheer squad. Amber was a loving and caring mother to her two children, her family and her friends. She also attended the Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ellendale. Amber was a loyal employee at Mohawk Electrical Systems and worked hard to support her family. She also loved music and loved to sing and could out dance anyone on the dance floor. She was preceded in death by her father, George P. Brown; aunt, Terry Louise Stokes; grandfather, H.D. Warrington, Sr. and his wife, Minnie Warrington. She is survived by her companion, DeSuan Williams, Sr.; two beautiful children, DeSuan Williams, Jr. and Serenity Faye Williams; mother, Tamara Gainey; step-father, John Webb, Sr.; grandparents, Thomas and Patricia Urban; father-in-law, Reginald Williams and Nan Nan; mother-in-law, Larita Williams; sisters, Christina Warrington and Tiffany Gainey; step-sisters, Heather, Carrie and Stephanie Webb; step-brother, J.D. Webb; two uncles, Dean Warrington and David Warrington, Jr. and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, DE, where friends may call from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Cokesbury Cemetery, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
