Altoria B. Dallas, 'Mommie,' 78
DOVER - Altoria B. Dallas, "Mommie," of Dover died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, in her home. She was 78.
Mrs. Dallas was born Sept. 17, 1928, in New Rochelle, N.Y., daughter of the late Alfonso James Dallas and Victoria Thomas.
She was employed as a registered nurse for many years, retiring in 1989.
Mrs. Dallas will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends.
She is survived by a son, R. Justice Steele of Dover; two daughters and a son-in-law, Dawyn Allen of Smyrna and Mari and Darnelle Kelly of Dover; a stepson, Scott James of New York; two longtime family friends, Homer Herndon of Georgia and Brenda Wingle of Dover; and 13 grandchildren, Shawyn, Lonsdale, Victoria, Christina, Ralph "RJ," Altoria, Quinnton, Quinnelle, Alexes, Darnelle, Trea, James and Aaliyah.
Burial and services will be private
