Allen W. Rogers Jr., 79 LAUREL - Allen W. Rogers Jr., age 79, of Laurel, passed away on Feb. 28, 2010, at Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford. Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife of 52 years Peggy Jones Rogers; his children, Danny Rogers and wife Beverly, Jim Rogers and companion Glenda, Melinda R. Tingle and husband Kevin, Brent Rogers and wife Lisa, Janet Rogers and companion Chris, Carla Layton and husband Bill, Kerry Rogers and companion Betsy; grandchildren, Erin Tingle, Alison Tingle, Brittany Rogers, David Rogers, Jill DeFelice, Jennifer Gallagher, Melissa Weimer, Amy Smith, Lucas Rogers, Kerry Rogers. A Funeral Service was held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, Laurel, on Thursday, March 4. The Rev. Art Smith officiated. Interment followed in Bethel Community Cemetery, Bethel.
