SMYRNA - Allen Scott Callahan of Smyrna passed away May 12, 2011, in the Delaware Home and Hospital, Smyrna. He was 47. He was born on Aug. 30, 1963, son of the late John and Ruth (Pratt) Callahan. Allen had worked as a painter until his disability. He enjoyed gardening. He is survived by three children, Nicole Lynn Callahan of Harrington, Franklin Edward Callahan of Felton and Beth Ann Callahan of Pa.; a sister, Lisa Cox and her husband David of Harrington; and his family, at the Delaware Home and Hospital. A memorial service will be Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Southside Baptist Church, 4904 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover.
