With profound sadness we announce the passing of Alicia Mae Zearfoss, our loving and devoted mother and friend, on August 7, 2021.
She was the beloved mother of Kelly Schetrom of Newark, Del., Steven Schetrom of Indianapolis, Indiana, Victoria Schetrom of Newark, Del., Kenneth Zearfoss Jr. of Dover, Del., Virginia Zearfoss of Dover Del., and Kimberly Long of Fruitland Md. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Kenneth Zearfoss Sr.; her father, Robert Pusey; and mother, Ruth Rathel. Alicia lived her life as a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. She is survived by her 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She loved to decorate, read, color, and work on crossword puzzles in her spare time. She also loved to spend time with her family and hoped to one day visit Hawaii with them. Most of all, as much as she loved her family, she adored her long-life friend and sister of nearly 50 + years, Vicki Siegel. Even if they had their differences, they had each other's back. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
A celebration of Alicia's life will be held at Pippin Funeral home at 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, Delaware on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 2-4 p.m.
