Alice Sandra 'Sandy' Elliott, 56
WORTON, Md. - Alice Sandra "Sandy" Elliott of Worton passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, in her home, after a lengthy illness. She was 56.
Mrs. Elliott was born Oct. 10, 1950, daughter of the late Alex and Lucy Ennis.
She received her early childhood education at Garnett and graduated from Rock Hall High School in 1968.
After graduation, Mrs. Elliott worked various jobs, settling at WISCO Envelop and Heron Point, where she remained until illness forced her into early retirement.
She enjoyed life, family and socializing with friends.
She was formally married to Orvin B. Elliott.
At an early age, Mrs. Elliott joined the Aaron Chapel United Methodist Church in Rock Hall. After moving to Worton, she attended Bethel A.M.E. in Chestertown, where she became a member of the Bethellites and an usher.
She is survived by a daughter, Chanelle Elliott; a grandson, Tylanté Wilson of New Carrollton; an aunt, Carrie Corbin of Salisbury; a devoted cousin, Louise "Aunt Louise" Thomas of Rock Hall; a godson, De'Vanon Wilson of Rock Hall; four devoted friends, Agnes Brooks, Yvonne Turner, Loraine Hopkins and Sandra Wilson of Dover, Del.; and a host of friends and relatives.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Aaron's Chapel, Rock Hall.
Services will be noon Friday in Aaron's Chapel, where friends may call two hours earlier.
Burial will be in Aaron's Chapel Church Cemetery, Rock Hall.
