Alice Mae Conley, 73

DOVER - Alice Mae Conley, of Dover, died suddenly, Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, in Kent General Hospital. She was 73. Mrs. Conley was born Oct. 8, 1935, in Dover, to the late Harry Morgan Sr. and Frances Durham Morgan. She owned her own Bakery, Alice's Wonderful World of Cakes. Mrs. Conley was a member of the Trinity Wesleyan Church in Dover. She loved to shop for Jewelry on QVC and Jewelry Television. Mrs. Conley collected porcelain dolls, enjoyed gardening especially roses. She loved baking, but her biggest love was being with her family and her dog Daphne. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Bonnie Lou Pritchett Isaacs and Melody Lynn Conley. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David W. Conley of Dover; her daughter, Connie West of Mt. Holly, N.J.; brother, Harry Morgan Jr. of Dover; two sisters, Myrtle Coker and her husband Walter of Dover and Harriett Everett of Magnolia; seven grandchildren, Kelly Worthington, Sarah Shriner, Meredith West, Justin Trimmer, Andrew West, Meghan Trimmer and Daniel Trimmer; five great-grandchildren, Senora, Makenzie, Jordan, Zachary and Mason. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call two hours prior. Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook may be signed at www.torbertfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trinity Wesleyan Church, 1564 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901.
