PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Alice Louise Carden of Portsmouth died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, in Portsmouth. She was 83.
Mrs. Carden was born Oct. 8, 1923, in Wyoming, Del.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Carden; and three sons, Leroy Hobbs, Allen Carden and James Carden.
She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, Clifton and Susan Carden; five grandchildren, Wade Hobbs, Fonda Hobbs, Emma Carden, Clifton Carden and James Carden; three sisters, Marian Serman, Bertha Davis and Margaret Harall, all of Dover, Del.; and two brothers, Sam Hobbs of Chance, Md., and Stanley Hobbs of Wyoming.
