Albert W. Mills

CAMDEN - Albert W. Mills, Jr. of Camden, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was 86. Mr. Mills was born April 1, 1930 in Fall River, Mass. to the late Albert W. Mills, Sr. and Bessie Wheadon Mills. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years retiring as Msgt. Mr. Mills was a member of the Wesley United Methodist church, in Dover and the Kent County Aero Modelers. He enjoyed building and flying radio controlled planes since his youth. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice Harrison Mills of Camden; son, Bruce H. Mills and his wife Karen of Amherst, N.H.; daughters, Cynthia L. Ivey of Greenville, N.H., Sharon E. Buckmaster and her husband Douglas of Middletown; grandchildren, Drew H. and Ethan T. Mills, Samantha L. and Jeffrey M. Ivey, Alan R. and Kyle D. Buckmaster. Services will be held 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901 or Wesley Church, 209 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
