Agnes W. Welch HARRINGTON, DE - Agnes W. Welch, 93, of Harrington, died Thursday, May 6, 2010 in the Milford Center, Genesis Eldercare. Mrs Welch was born in Greenwood, the daughter of the late Roland and Elsie Mae (Sullivan) Willey. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking and cooking, tending to her garden and working in her flower beds. She loved her family, and was especially proud of her grandson and great grandson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Davidson Welch, in 1977; a son, Wayne D. Welch, in 2001; and a grandson, Russell Davidson Welch, in 1962. She is survived by her grandson, Tim Welch and his wife, Susan; a great grandson Zachery Welch; and a daughter-in-law, Bonita B. Welch, all of Harrington. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington, DE., where friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Milford - Harrington Hwy, Harrington, DE.
