MILFORD - Agnes H. Ayers, of Milford, passed away Friday, May 9, 2008, in Milford Center. She was 93.
Mrs. Ayers was born Feb. 1, 1915, in Staytonville, daughter of the late Edward A. and Elizabeth A. (Brewster) Annett.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Ayers was a very active, fun loving person, who especially enjoyed traveling, when she was able, with one of her nieces and family.
She was a member of the Old Swedes Church in Wilmington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Ayers, in 1979; and three sisters, Eva Todd, Jennie Quinby and Blanche Scholes.
She is survived by her caregivers, Elizabeth A. and James C. Turner, Elizabeth Jane and Art Potter, all of Greenwood, and William Turner of Wilmington; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, where friends may call one hour prior.
Burial will be held in the Milford Community Cemetery, U.S. 113.
