Frederica - A.C. Mitchell passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 in his home.
Mr. Mitchell was born on June 28, 1954 of the late Christine Mitchell, A.C. and Mildred Cross. Mr. Mitchell attended public schools in Sandervile, Ga. He enjoyed family, fishing, joking, board games, oldies but goodies music, repairing electronics, and reminiscing about the good times. His favorite past time was family gatherings.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Allen.
He is survived by his siblings, Wilburn Cross (Wife-Robena), Curtis Cross (Wife-Debbie), Rose Cross-Spielman (Husband-Gregory), Walker Cross (Wife-Gwen), Patricia Predoux (Husband-David), Joseph Jones (Wife-Janet). A.C. Mitchell also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 West Division Street, Dover.
