WORTON, Md. - Aaron R. Brink of Worton died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Chester River Hospital, Chestertown. He was 37.

Aaron was born July 9, 1970, in Middletown, N.Y., son of Robert and Eileen (VanderWerf) Brink.

He and his family moved to Worton in 1979, and he graduated from Kent County High School in 1989.

For several years Aaron worked on his family's dairy farm near Worton and also was a waterman.

He was most recently working for Georgetown Yacht Basin as a fiberglass boat repairman.

Aaron was a member of the Maryland Waterman's Association and was formerly with the 4-H in Middletown, N.Y., and Kent County, Md.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and animals.

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Mary Brink and Martin and Anna VanderWerf.

Along with his parents, Robert and Eileen Brink of Worton, he is survived by his wife of six years, Shelley (Webb) Brink; his son, Aaron Cody Brink of Chestertown; two sisters, Christi Mench and her husband Jerry and Carole Baxter and her husband Jay; and his nieces and nephews, Brad Usilton, and Jacob, Jessica and Haleigh Baxter, all of Worton.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Burial will be held privately in Still Pond Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the Kent County Relay for Life, P.O. Box 1001, Chestertown, MD 21620.
