Yvonne E. Givens Robinson

Yvonne (Bonnie) E. Givens Robinson passed away on Monday, Sept. 3, 2018 at Nanticoke Health Services surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. 23, 1947 to Dorothy Hall Givens and the late Melvin F. Givens of Seaford.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert M. Robinson; her daughter, Michelle Russum; granddaughters, Katelan Russum, and Kalie Robinson all of Seaford. She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Givens; brothers, M. Wayne Givens (Vicki), Leslie Givens (Teresa) all of Seaford, Mark S. Givens (Billie) of Georgetown; sisters, Wanda Thornton (John) and Sherrie Baker (Bruce) all of Seaford; sister-in-laws, Janice (Teeny) Griffith (Emerson Stevenson), Darlene Knowles; and brother-in-law, Donald Robinson all of Seaford. Bonnie is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was a member of Concord United Church where she was a member of the choir and the UMW.
Bonnie was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to her family. Excellent cook and baker enjoyed competing at the Delaware State where she was the recipient of numerous medals. During her life Bonnie worked in many different positions, first starting at Manning's Pharmacy, Seaford Senior Center, Video Showcase of Georgetown, Life Care at Lofland Park, Seaford Pizza King, and most recently at Vanderwende's Farm Creamery.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018 at Concord United Methodist Church, 25322 Church Road, Seaford. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Concord United Methodist Church.
