Wilton J. Pyle Jr., 71

GEORGETOWN - Wilton J. Pyle, Jr., of Georgetown, passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, in his home, with his family at his side. He was 71. Wilton was born in Reading, Pa., son of the late Wilton J., Sr., and Gladys (Phillips) Pyle. He was a Machinist, in the tool and dye industry, and had worked with Universal Machine in Stowe, Pa., for many years. Wilton enjoyed playing golf at the Green Hills Golf Course. He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Margaret (McMahon) Pyle; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Wilton J., III and wife Jeanine, of Marietta, Ga., Troy S. and wife Jami, of Woodstock, Ga., Kevin T. of Georgetown, Matthew T. and wife Sharon, of Lewes, and Jonathan L. and wife Jennifer of Milford; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marilyn Maguire of New Castle. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 13, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, with visitation for family and friends after 12 p.m. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
