DOVER - Willie Lee Swing Jr., of Dover, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 53.

Mr. Swing was born May 17, 1954, in Lakeland, Fla. to the late Willie Lee Swing Sr. and Minnie Grizzle Swing.

Mr. Swing served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 15 years.

He worked for Dover Products on West Denneys Road for 20 years as a laborer, refurbishing oils.

He was a member of the Lifting up Holy Hands Ministries in Dover.

Mr. Swing enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing and playing his guitar.

Mr. Swing is survived by his son, William Lee Swing of Smyrna; four daughters, Donna Simms of Townsend, Dianna Lynn Simms of Dover, Yolanda Denise Swing of Felton and Crystal Natasha Swing of Smyrna; his brother, Claude Henry Swing; and his two half-brothers, Bobby Lee and B.B. Grizzle; his six sisters, Dorothy Nelson, Gloria Blocker, both of Dover, Doreen and Cynthia Swain, both of Georgia, and Minnie Pearl Edwards and Mary Lee Grizzle; two grandchildren, John J.L. Campbell Jr. and Latorreya N. Thompson; and his devoted friend and former wife and mother of his three children, Audrey Swing of Smyrna.

Funeral services will be noon Saturday in Lifting up Holy Hands Ministries, 700 Forrest Avenue, Dover, DE 19901.

Friends may call from 10 a.m.-noon.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapels, Dover.
