MILFORD - William T. Cocorikis of Milford, formerly of Wanaque, N.J., died Saturday, June 9, 2007, at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 73.
Mr. Cocorikis was born Sept. 4, 1933, in New York City, son of the late Anthony and Evelyn (Wood) Cocorikis.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his country during the Korean War.
Mr. Cocorikis was a salesman for Oberg & Linquist, a high end appliance company in New Jersey, for 15 years, retiring in 2005.
He loved spending time with his family and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cocorikis was preceded in death by a brother, James Cocorikis.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lillian N. Cocorikis; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Todd William and Gail Cocorikis of Monroe, N.J., and Martin Anthony and Amy Cocorikis of Frankford, Ill.; a daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Anthony Grimaldi Jr. of Dunellen, N.J.; a sister, Helen Gisonni of Yorktown, N.Y.; and six grandchildren, Nicholas Cocorikis, Matthew Cocorikis, Benjamin Cocorikis, Robert Cocorikis, Anthony Grimaldi III and Emily Grimaldi.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at James W. Conroy Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, N.J.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield.
Burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital, c/o Bayhealth Foundation Milford, 640 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901.
