William Otis Harrison

William Otis Harrison, 65

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - William Otis Harrison, of Cambridge, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. He was 65.

Mr. Harrison was born Jan. 6, 1943, in Easton, son of the late Charles Otis and Mary Estelle (Lednum) Harrison.

He attended schools at Tilghman.

Mr. Harrison worked on the water and enjoyed working with wood.

Some years ago, he worked at a concrete plant.

Mr. Harrison was in failing health for the past year and had been a patient at Peninsula Regional Medical Center since Dec. 19.

He is survived by seven daughters, Cindy Adams and her husband Sonny of Royal Oak, Bonnie Hastings and her husband Ray of Cambridge, and Cindy Showard, Tracy Harkness, Loretta Gordy, Mona Harrison and Roxanne Taylor, all of Seaford, Del.; a son, Jimmy Gordy of Seaford; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Wilson of Tilghman and Mona Harrison of Mardela Springs; his twin brother, Herman E. Harrison of Delaware; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife in October 2006; and a brother, Charles Edgar Harrison.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Contributions may be made in Mr. Harrison's memory to the Thomas Funeral Home, 700 Locust St., Cambridge, MD 21613.
