William Nelson 'Billy' Coleman Jr., 57 WORTON, Md. - William Nelson "Billy" Coleman Jr., 57, of Worton, died April 13, 2010, in his home. Billy was born on July 26, 1952, son of William Nelson Coleman, Sr. and Catherine Foreman Coleman. He was a lifetime resident of Kent County where he graduated from Chestertown High School Class of 1970 and also attended Chesapeake College. While in high school and college he was know for his position on the Baseball team as the pitcher. He also pitched for numerous softball leagues and was inducted into the ASA Hall of Fame in 2003. Billy was a self employed hunting guide taking parties for Ken Schrader and Fairwinds Gun Club. He was a member of the Chestertown Elks Lodge #2474 and enjoyed golfing and fishing. Along with his parents, William and Catherine Coleman, Sr. of Worton, he is survived by four children, Kelly Smith and her husband Mark of Worton, William N. Coleman, III and his wife Cheree of Rock Hall, Sean Coleman and his wife Sophia of Pensacola, Fla., and Tucker Coleman of Denton; a sister, Penny Pickering and her husband 'Pic' of Rock Hall; a brother, Mark Coleman and his wife Suzanne of Willards; and four grandchildren, Peyton Noel Coleman, Andrew Smith, McKenzie Smith, and Skyler Coleman; a niece and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, April 18, in the Chestertown Elks Lodge, 8631 Bell Rose Lane, Chestertown.
