William H. 'Bill' Coleman, 64
BARCLAY, Md. - William H. "Bill" Coleman of Barclay died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, in his home. He was 64.
Mr. Coleman was born in Ridgley, son of Annabelle S. (Holden) Coleman and the late Charles A. "Brownie" Coleman.
He was a 1960 graduate of Sudlersville High School.
Mr. Coleman was a Vietnam-era U.S. Army veteran, serving in Germany as a Huey Helicopter crew chief.
He was a Power House mechanic for the Dow Reichold Chemical Co., Cheswold, for 40 years, retiring in 2003.
Mr. Coleman loved animals and animal rescue. He enjoyed trucks, especially collecting them. In his spare time, he also enjoyed working on the family farm.
He is survived by his mother, Annabelle Coleman of Sudlersville; his wife, Betty Ann (Clough) Coleman, whom he married on Aug. 15, 1967, in Basle-City, Switzerland; a sister and a brother-in-law, Loretta and Richard Walls of Millington; a brother and a sister-in-law, John P. and Delieca Coleman of Millington; and his beloved pet, Jewels.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St., Millington, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Burial will be in the Sudlersville Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Animal Resource Foundation, P.O. Box 396, Chester, MD 21619.
