SMYRNA, Del. - William F. Rieker, Jr. passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Home.
He was born August 1, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late William F. Rieker, Sr. and Ann Cooney.
Mr. Rieker was a carpenter, at TruFit Frame and Door Company. He enjoyed playing Monopoly and listening to his favorite Country Music. He was an avid Harley Davidson man, big fan of the Grave Digger.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by brother, Joseph Worthington; and sisters, Florence Bernender and Patricia Sands.
Mr. Rieker is survived by loving wife of 36 years, Linda Barnett of Smyrna, Del.; son, William F. Rieker, III (Erica) of Smyrna, Del.; daughters, Danielle Coyle (William) of Phillipsburg, N.J., Janine Fucilli (Ryan) of Phillipsburg, N.J.; Joann Vandergrift of Smyrna, Annamarie McEntee (Jim) of Bensalem, Pa., Dominique Robles (Carlos) of Smyrna, and Gabrielle Price (Maurice) of Dover; sisters, Anne Rieker of Woodbury, N.J., and Lois Sterling of Valley Center, Kan.; and eight grandchildren; sister-in-law, Trisha Worthington; and best friend, Mark Taylor (Moose).
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, located downtown, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, Delaware. Friends may visit one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Helen Graham Cancer Center Christiana.
