William E. 'Bill' Justice, 58 ELLENDALE - William E. "Bill" Justice, of Ellendale, died at home, Saturday, July 19, 2008, after a long battle with cancer. Bill was surrounded by family and friends who were honoring him on his 58th birthday. Bill was born July 19, 1950, in Dagsboro, son of the late Joseph and Alice (Quillen) Justice. Bill was a diesel mechanic with Perdue and had recently retired. He had also worked at Draper King Cole. He was a great mechanic and will always be remembered for working on his old cars and tractors and being outside in his garage. He was a member of the VFW Post 6984 in Milton and past member of the Southern Delaware Street Rod Association. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a daughter-in- law, Stacey A. Justice in 2004. He is survived by two sons, Rick Justice and friend, and Raymond Justice and Stephanie; fiancé, Barbara Baker; two brothers, Jehu Justice and wife Connie and Dean Justice and wife Faye; three sisters, Joyce Beebe and husband Lester, Joanne Goins and husband Lee and Cheryl Vickers and husband John; four granddaughters, Tori, Abigail, Autumn and Carissa; a grandson, Michael Baker; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be noon Thursday in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Heartland Hospice Service, 365 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
