CAMDEN-WYOMING - Wesley "Jack" Courtney passed away Aug. 4, 2015. Jack was born on Oct. 17, 1936 in Dover, Del. to the late Lillian Marker and Clarence Courtney. He was a car salesman in the Dover area for many years. He attended Trinity Wesleyan Church and was an avid bowler. He served honorably for four years in the United States Air Force. Mr. Courtney is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Joan Brown Courtney, of 43 years; and his brothers, Julian, David, and Carlton. He is survived by his wife Margaret Taylor Courtney, of 10 years. His brother, George Courtney and his wife Beverly; His son, Bruce Courtney and his wife Lori, of San Diego, Calif.; Daughter Terri and her husband, Keith Seeley of Camden, Del. Grandchildren, Courtney, Wesley, Danny, and Brandon. His two great-grandchildren Conner and Austin. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday August 8th, 2015 at, Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 East Lebanon Road (Rt. 10) Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will follow at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reeds Way, New Castle, Del. 19720.
