Wayne Edward Creed, 60
FELTON, Del. - Wayne Edward Creed passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Bayhealth/Kent General Hospital.
Wayne was born September 2, 1961 in Dover, Del. to Patricia Ann (Travis) Halsey and the late, James Edward Creed. He was a jack of all trades. He did sealcoating for J & J Sealcoating, and was a drywall hanger for K & S, C & C, and Kent Co for many years. In his free time, Wayne loved watching race cars, going to car shows, boating, camping, bowling, and going to family outings.
In addition to his father; he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Anne Travis; his step-father, Fritz Cox; his brothers-in-law, Paul & David Smith; and his faithful companion, Ace.
Wayne is survived by his Life Companion of 40 years, Kimberly Caldwell-Marie; three children, Jodie Caldwell & companion, Jason Smith, Wayne Caldwell, and Heather Caldwell, all of Felton; his grandchildren, Joshua Caldwell, Kelsey Caldwell, Gage Caldwell, Briana Dawson, and Christian Dawson; and his siblings, James Alfred Creed, Sr. & wife, Michele, of Camden, Kevin Parker Cox & wife, Spencer, of Magnolia, Patricia Smith, of Milford, Annie Poore, of Magnolia, Sharon Creed & companion, Kathy Short, and Tara Cox, of Camden.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2022, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Del.; where family and friends may view from 12 noon - 2 p.m.
