FELTON - Wanda Mae O'Day passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 62. Wanda was born on September 30, 1949 in Riverdale, Maryland, daughter of the late William and Louise Killen Greenley. She worked at Father & Son Painting, LLC. in Felton as a painter and bookkeeper and previously for 23 years for Cam-Del Metals Corp. in Camden as H.R. Coordinator. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virgie Greenley; and half brother, William Greenley, Jr. Wanda is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 35 years, William O'Day; son, William Edwards and daughter-in-law Vicky Edwards; daughter, Pat O'Day and Dominick Giroso; brothers, Victor Greenley of Milford, Robert Greenley and sister-in-law Linda, Joe Greenley and sister-in-law Gail of Lincoln, Wesley Greenley and his friend Barbara Little of Houston, Kenny George and his wife Rose and Ronnie Hoennicke; sisters, Lillian Korell and brother-in-law Larry of Camden, Edith Davis and brother-in-law Steve of Jackson, Mo., Brenda Kay Stevens and brother-in-law Dennis of Dover and Bonita Fay Stevens and Cornell of Dover; grandchildren, Jessica Carey, Anthony Edwards and his wife Courtney and Dylan Edwards; great grandchildren, Mykenzie and Jaxtin; several nieces and nephews; and her protectors, Shadow and Sugar. Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., where friends may gather one hour earlier. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the ALS Hope Foundation, 219 N. Broad St. Seventh Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107 or Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
