Wanda Jean Clarke, 45

CLAYTON - Wanda Jean Clarke, of Clayton, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at home. She was 45.

Mrs. Clarke was born March 2, 1963, in Wilmington, to Arnold White and Diana (Cain) White.

Mrs. Clarke worked as a private care nurse for the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill, Smyrna.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Richard Clarke of Clayton; her parents, Arnold and Diana White of Middletown; two sons, Robert Dempsey of Dover and James Dempsey of Camden; three sisters, Chris Smith and her husband Randee of Harrington, Jennifer Glenn of Dover and Becky Weiss and her husband Chris of Middletown; her aunt, Ramona, and uncle, Tom Malin of Felton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be from 8 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, where a viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
