Walter A. 'Tony' Woolridge, 55 CLAYTON - Walter A. "Tony" "Ponto" Woolridge, died in his home Thursday, March 18, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. He was 55. Mr. Woolridge was born July 24, 1954 in West Virginia, to the late Walter Roscoe and Zenith Pearl Combs Woolridge. He worked for Delaware Car Corporation for many years as a Master Mechanic, Master Painter, and as a Fiberglass Technician. His hobbies included working outdoors and tinkering, making sculptures out of tree stumps, fishing and taking wildlife photos. He loved playing with his grandchildren, and loved his tomato's and working in the tomato garden. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Lee; two sons, Steven and Albert Woolridge; four sisters, Linda Bilger, Wanda Toy, Martha Hassiepen, and Alesia Cooke; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be planned privately by the family at a later date. Letters of condolence may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
