W. Melvin Krabill, 83

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - W. Melvin Krabill of Cape Coral passed away on March 17, 2007. He was 83.

He was born on Dec. 24, 1923, to S. Havel and Grace Krabill in Denton, Md.

Melvin lived in Dover before moving to Cape Coral in 1981.

Melvin was a retired tanker truck driver for Texaco Co. and worked part time at the utilities and irrigation supply of North Fort Myers, Fla.

Melvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and bowling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Holsinger; and two brothers, Earl Lewis Krabill and Harold V. Krabill.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Josephine; two sons, Kenny and his wife, Sue Krabill and Greg and his wife, Nancy Krabill; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Tyler and Aubrey; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday at 1 p.m. in the North Fort Myers United Methodist Church, North Fort Myers.

Instead of flowers donations may be made to North Fort Myers United Methodist Church, 81 Pondella Road, North Fort Myers, FL 995-2852; or the charity of your choice.
