Virginia Lee Pinder

HENDERSON, Md. - Virginia Lee Pinder died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 at her daughter's home in Denton, Md.
Mrs. Pinder was born March 6, 1945 in Burrisville, Md. the daughter of the late Kenneth Hayman and Ruthanna "Larrimore" Hayman. Mrs. Pinder was a 1963 graduate of Centreville High School. After graduation she went to work at Bill's Bargain Center in Grasonville. She married the late Robert "Shorty" Pinder March 25, 1972 and they resided in Centreville for a short time before moving to Henderson. Over the years Mrs. Pinder also worked cleaning home's and banks in the area and most recently as a daycare provider for Daycare Inc. She was a member of New Life Wesleyan Church in Greensboro, Md. She loved to bowl and spend time with her grandchildren and attending family gatherings.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Shorty" Pinder; and two brothers, Francis and Steve Hayman.
She is survived by her daughter, Lora Robbins and partner Tiffany of Denton, Md.; four grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Tyler, London; three sisters, Betty Ann Williamson (Luther) of Federalsburg, Md., Bonnie Thomas (Dicky) of Smyrna, Debbie Goodman (Jay) of Chestertown, Md.; and three brothers, Donald Hayman of Queenstown, Md., Bernard Hayman (Vanessa) of Galena, Md., Kenny Hayman (Grace) of Millington, Md.; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fellows Family Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St., Millington, Md. Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at 12 p.m. also at the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service in Sudlersville Cemetery in Sudlersville, Md. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.fhnfuneralhome.com
