Virginia 'Ginny' L. Swiggett, 56
DOVER - Virginia "Ginny" L. Swiggett, of Dover, expired away on Saturday, March 15, 2008, in her home surrounded with family. She was 56.
She was born on Oct. 19, 1951, in Irvington, N.J., to William and the late Lillian Ditzel Cain.
Ginny was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who always thought of helping others.
She will surely be missed.
The family wishes to thank hospice for their wonderful support during this difficult time.
Ginny is survived by husband, William E. Swiggett of Dover; daughter, Karen Byrd of Dover; son, Paul Cain of New Mexico; grandson who she was raising, Matthew Nitsch of Dover; granddaughter, Elizabeth Cain of Dover; stepson, Bill Swiggett Jr.; seven step-grandchildren; brother and his wife, William S. and Gail Cain Jr. of Rehoboth Beach; brother and his wife, Robert A. and Charlotte Cain of Elkton, Md.; brother and his wife, Edward M. and Diane Cain of Dover; brother and his wife, Gary E. and Linda Cain of Smyrna; sister and her husband, Linda M. and Kevin Williams of Ellenville, N.Y.; sister, Lillian E. Cain of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.
Ginny loved her family dearly.
Remembrance services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Casual dress is requested.
Burial will be at the Barrett's Chapel Cemetery. Frederica.
