Virginia L. "Ginger" (Russell) Ruback, 73

SOUTH BETHANY BEACH - Virginia L. "Ginger" Russell Ruback of South Bethany Beach, formerly of College Park, Md., passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 73.

Mrs. Ruback was born in Baltimore, daughter of the late Marion and Mary Virginia (Warick) Russell.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ruback is survived by her husband of 51 years, William F. "Bill" Ruback; four sons, William F. Ruback, Jr. of Pittsford, N.Y., Steven V. Ruback of Ocean View, Kenneth R. Ruback of Washington Grove, Md., and James M. Ruback of Ocean View; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Robert Russell of Shaker Heights, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, at 2:30 p.m., at St. Ann"s Catholic Church, Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach. A visitation will be today, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Bethany Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue, Ocean View. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Mrs. Ruback"s name to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947; or the American Lung Association, 1021 Gilpin Ave., Wilmington, DE 19806.
