Virginia Brown

VIOLA - Virginia Brown, 78, of Viola, passed away Saturday, Dec. 03, 2011, at Delaware Hospice Center Milford surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 22, 1933 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Luther and Florence Wells Goins. She was deeply devoted to her husband and children and adored by her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and made each of her children think that they were her favorite. She was a past Sunday school teacher. Some of her most memorable times were traveling the country with her husband after their retirement. She especially looked forward to traveling to her annual family reunion in Kentucky. She was an avid Orioles fan and never missed a game. She was preceded in death by two sons, Allen Clark, and David Fetty, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 48 years, William P. Brown, Jr. of Viola; sons, Lee Fetty (Melba) of Abell, Md., Glenn Clark of S.C., Jeff Clark (Sherry ) of Harrington, William P. Brown, III (Debbie) of Harrington; daughters, Florence Alexander (Roger) of Felton, Sherry Clark (Brent Aydelotte) of Milford, Billie Ann Taylor (Ralph) of Milford, Christine Hinspeter (Fred) of Harrington; sisters, Marjorie Moore of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Gail Rivenbark of N.C.; grandchildren, Laura Soule (Moseley), Sam Clark, Kurtis Mosier, Matthew Clark, Sarah Clark, Clayton Clark, Angie Goode (Jay), Jamie Cox, Christopher Brown, William Brown, IV, Christopher Fetty, Jolene Fetty, David Fetty, Jr., Donald Fetty, James Fetty; and 18 great-grandchildren; and a special friend who was like a sister, Esther Shockley of Dover. Remembrance Services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover.
